With the government strategizing to achieve Jordan Vision 2025 and Economic Modernization Vision 2033, Jordan’s financial ecosystem is witnessing a significant push towards digital transformation. In 2022, the country saw over 78 million electronic payment transactions. Further, the online banking penetration is forecasted to amount to 4.59% in 2023 and the total transaction value is expected to show an annual growth rate (CAGR 2023-2027) of 14.13% resulting in a projected total amount of US$12.25bn by 2027 (Statista).
